August 21, 2009 Harrisonville, Missouri Cass County Square-Off BBQ Contest Big Creek BBQ will be competing at this event and Jeff will be informally nominated and accept that nomination for the KCBS Board of Directors during a potluck dinner. September 11, 2009 Blue Springs, Missouri Blue Springs BBQ Blaze-Off Big Creek BBQ will again be competing in this event. Stop by and say hello to Jeff during this competition! October 2-4, 2009 Kansas City, Missouri American Royal BBQ Although Jeff will not be competing with his team, he will be at the Royal most of the weekend to meet teams and introduce himself to as many folks from around the country as possible. October 16, 2009 Independence, Missouri The Fountains Blaze-Off and Senior Q Jeff is a co-organizer at this event. If you're out for this contest, Jeff should have some time to visit about KCBS issues. October 23-24, 2009 Lynchburg, TN The Jack Daniel's World Championship BBQ Jeff will travel to Lynchburg to meet teams and take in the atmosphere! November 27, 2009 Flint, MI Lunch Meeting Since my family will be at the in-laws for Thanksgiving in Michigan, I will be having lunch with a few folks from the GLBBQA. December 15, 2009 Online! Internet Radio Interview I will be interviewed on Greg Rempe's "BBQ Central" talk radio show. You can find it on channel 1 at www.LATalkRadio.com at 8:00 PM Central Time. My segment should be right at the first of the show according to Greg. January 15-16, 2010 Philadelphia, PA KCBS Annual Banquet Friday the 15th is the LAST day for voting (and thus campaigning!). Jeff and wife Tammy will be attending the rules meeting (if the plane arrives in time - scheduled to arrive 50 minutes prior to the meeting) and hanging out at the hotel. If you still have not voted and would like to visit with me that day to help make your decision, please call my cell phone and we'll try to find a good location to have a drink and visit at the hotel. NOTE: Additional appearances will be scheduled as dates become available. |
